With archaeological precision, the director captures the mood, the details, and the political rhetoric of a workplace in Spain in 1978 – three years after the fall of the Franco dictatorship. A new collective agreement must be drawn up for the metal industry. The union has called for a workplace meeting and there is a clear division; Should the heavily compromised agreement be accepted or not? The euphoria has faded, the 80s are upon us.

In the diaspora, when fear becomes the norm, anxiety, friends and loneliness are all that fill the corners of the empty house.
