Director duo Olofsson-Davis has crafted their own unique style, both in storytelling and through their eccentric characters. In 2022, we showcased Samses, and several of the cast members are recognizable in this year’s film, where Gunnar’s bromance with the troubadour Milton takes center stage. A birthday celebration at sea, complete with a catchy 80s-inspired dance floor, contrasts with scenes around Gunnar’s solitary cabin in the woods, before culminating in a bizarre mix of paranoia and party.
