It's a story about generations of women traveling through time and space to find safety. And how an island up north, maybe the start of reconciliation.

The road holds a promise of freedom. In this 16 mm short it acts a form, metaphor and a cinematic mythology as a phantasmagorical mixtape about being and becoming a truck driver unfolds.

The film shows three people, each emptying the dishwasher in an otherwise dark and empty room with only a spotlight on each person. In the film, the people focus on trying to move plates, glasses and cutlery as silently as possible in and out of the dishwasher. This creates a kind of humorous choreography of everyday chores with exaggerated movements to avoid making as little noise as possible.
