Vinnare av Stone City Award 2023 för bästa norrländska kortfilm är...

...MAMMA 2 regisserad av Mattias Sjöstedt och Jonas Lawes!

Juryns motivering: "How to portrait strong disruption in a father and son relationship and give the audience what it does not expect in only 5 minutes?  The directors take out the unnecessary to go straight to the point. Sharp and loving with a bright sense of humor, in this almost “ordinary quotidian scene” we witness how gender transition can be taken in by the younger generations." 

Filmen vinner: 25 000 kr från Film i Västerbotten, Filmpool Jämtland, Filmpool Nord, Film Västernorrland, Region Gävleborg samt en prisstatyett skapad av Cecilia Tjärnberg.

Juryn för Svensk kortfilm bestod av: Lara Casirati, Jukka-Pekka Laakso och Camille Hebert Benazet.
