Natura is Matti Harju's first longer film, in his luggage he has about ten short films that have been screened at the most prestigious international festivals. In a low-key thriller that takes absurd turns, he talks about class, wealth, and isolation in a digital, post-pandemic age. Two men get to know each other online and decide to break into a crypto millionaire's mansion. But stealing cryptocurrency turns out to be more complicated than they thought, and in addition, they need to help the robbery victim check his blood sugar level. A bit of a low-key laugh mirror to Funny Games, perhaps.
