Fruits of Despair

Nima Nassaj Iran, Islamic Republic Of 2026 29 min Documentary

An Iranian documentary filmmaker is working on a film about the Israel-Palestine conflict. In the midst of production, Israel attacks Iran, forcing him to flee Tehran with his family. A highly timely and uniquely constructed documentary, which premiered at the Berlinale this year and inevitably becomes both a political and personal essay – directly from the heart of the unfolding events.
