Kabuls sista röster
In "Kabuls sista röster", Sundsvall-based filmmaker Måns Berthas follows four young female journalists at Zan TV in Kabul up until the Taliban seized power in 2021. Through their everyday lives, friendship and journalistic work, the film portrays the period before the change in power, their escape during the fall of Kabul and their new lives in exile in Europe. Through the women’s own experiences, the film offers an intimate, long-term perspective on how major political upheavals have direct consequences for individual lives. The documentary premiered on SVT in August this year.
