A Motorcycle Trip Among the Clouds + DJ HYPNA
Motorcycles and breathtaking mountains were one of the great adventure trends of the 1920s. In Lothar Rübelt’s fascinating silent film documentary, we follow a motorcycle journey along narrow mountain roads through the Dolomites, reaching an altitude of 3,232 metres. A hundred years later, the silent film meets DJ HYPNA – and it will be exciting to see what musical ideas emerge as she creates a new soundtrack for the film. With deep roots in the underground scene, HYPNA draws on hip-hop as her foundation and moves freely into R&B, afrofunk, jungle and, at times, jazzy explorations.
