Ruben Östlund vs The Bunch

Ruben Östlund began his directing career with groundbreaking freeskiing films. The Bunch started out as a skiing and film collective and have since expanded their filmmaking. Their Many Fantasies Later won Ski Movie of the Year in 2022 and is being screened here alongside Ruben’s Free Radicals 1. After the screening, Ruben Östlund and Magnus Granér from The Bunch will talk about what it was like to film in the Alps in the 1990s compared with today, as well as the experiences they have carried with them into their filmmaking more broadly.
