Vinnare av Stone City Award 2024 - bästa svenska kortfilm är...

...SAMASSA VENEESSÄ av Mia Malviniemi och Mervi Junkkonen.

Juryns motivering:
A film with great humanity expressed by the limits of the aging body and boundless mind. The delicate camera movements and intimate focus as the two subjects connect and flow with each other demonstrates beautiful and careful filmmaking.

Juryn bestod av: Christina Olofson, Alice Shone, Adam Lunneborg

Filmen vinner 30 000 kr från Svenska Filminstitutet och 20 000 kr från Scen och Film.

Juryn ger även filmen LIV av Hillevi Gustafson ett special mention med motiveringen:
The film asks the question, "Who do I want to be?" with lots of energy and freshness.
